Sorry to rant but what I find so annoying is when someone else is a fan of what you love and they act like it's a competition.

I'm not talking about Prince in this instance but I joined this fan club to talk with other people about Prince and I wish other people outside of WIX could understand that it's not a competition.

I totally feel that. That’s also why I came to this site and reached out to the owner. I couldn’t stand how toxic it was everywhere else and it was like if you didn’t exhibit your fandom the way other fans did you were somehow not a real fan

Thank you! Yes! I mean people think being a fan means you have every single piece of merch and you know every word to every song or episode of a show, but that's not what being a fan means. A true fan just enjoys the music of whoever they enjoy weather it's Prince or another celebrity. Everyone on WIX is so nice and enjoyable to talk with because you all know that it's not a competition

I just disabled my Facebook and messenger over mess like this. I want to get the pics of my child off of it one day so it's just deactivated. We have enough stress in life
